TAPAC focuses on opening channels for dialogue and sharing perspectives across cultural and linguistic borders. Together with key partners such as the Grotowski Institute, we publish a variety of scholarly and source materials from different traditions, in both print and digital formats.
TAPAC works with artists, scholars, and documentarists to create mixed-mode accounts of training and performance processes. We produce resources incorporating photo and audiovisual essays, interviews, rehearsal notes, designs and sketches, professional profiles, and remastered video records.
We believe that theatre and performance research cannot depend on the view from only a single locale or linguistic context. TAPAC’s members and collaborators work to make available a wide variety of published and archival content in translation, spanning multiple languages and more than 20 countries.
